BEFORE YOU BEGIN EXPLORING THE FASCINATING SECRETS OF MS-DOS,
YOU MAY WANT TO CUSTOMIZE THE SCREEN COLORS TO YOUR LIKING..
* PRESS F1 FOR HELP ON COLOR, PRINTING, OR AUTOSCROLL.
** PRESS P TO PRINT A CHAPTER
*** Program is for IBM compatibles with a minimum of 256Kb.
Color required, but programs can be run without the color.
CHANGING SCREEN COLORS
▀ You can change the On-Screen color
by pressing the right or left arrow.
Or, by pressing keys F3 and F4.
▀ Press (Toggle) between F3 and F4 now,
to change Screen (Background) Color. (8 colors).
CHANGING COLOR OF THE LETTERS
▀ Press (Toggle) between F5 and F6 to change the
color of the letters (called foreground color).
▀ Toggle between F5 and F6 now, and select a color
for the letters. (8 Bright color, 8 normal brightness).
CHANGING THE COLOR OF THE SMALL BOTTOM WINDOW
▀ Toggle between F7 and F8 for desired color. (8 colors).
CHANGING THE COLOR OF THE LETTERS IN THE BOTTOM WINDOW
▀ Toggle between F9 and F10. Select a color for
the letters (8 colors).
CHANGING BORDER COLORS (16 Colors, VGA Monitor required)
▀ Press and hold down the Control Ctrl) key, then
press either the > or < key, for desired Border color.
Press Ctrl key and > now, to change Border color.
HOW TO MAKE YOUR MANUAL
▀ After you read a Chapter, press the P key to make a
printed copy (Hard copy). Check to see that your printer
is turned on. Use the printed instructions to do the Lesson.
AUTOSCROLL
▀ This program has "Autoscroll", for easy reading
Press any key from 1 to 0, to adjust speed of scrolling.
Press any key to cancel "Autoscroll".
AUTOMATIC INDEXING
▀ You can search for any word by pressing the "S" key.
Then type-in word to be searched.
HOW TO ACCESS THIS PROGRAM
▀ You can always access this program by typing at
the A> prompt the word GO. Then press the Enter key.
HELP KEY
▀ Press F1 key for more information about the program.
